Tettnanger Variety

The Tettnang Variety

The Tettnange variety (group of noble aroma varieties) is one of the Saazer-Formenkreis hops and is exclusively cultivated in Tettnang (core competence of the Tettnang hop growers) on around 50% of the cultivated area. The delicately aromatic hop flower with its subtle bitter flavor is ideally suited to pilsener beers in the premium segment and is not infrequently used in the last hops addition in the brewing process.
